I'm about ready to fall into bed, but just had to post this before I forget. Moses & I (and one of our dear friends Shelly) took Max to see Stars on Ice tonight. It's an iceskating show which he was VERY excited about and seemed to really enjoy. We had a priceless moment during the show, thanks to my sweetheart of a son.
One of the skaters came out to do a routine to the song by James Blunt, "You're Beautiful". Whether or not you like the song, everyone should be able to appreciate what happened next. Max was sitting on Moses' lap, and made a comment that brought tears to Moses' eyes. He told Max to tell me what he had said... my beautiful and caring little boy said "Mommy, when Lili gets home from Guatemala, I think you, me and Daddy should sing this song to her." He's such a wonderful boy with a big heart... and boy does he love his new baby sister!

Seriously, this was the SWEETEST thing I'd ever heard. Who would have thought a 4 year old who was mesmerized by the visuals of the ice skating "concert" was also paying such attention to the words. And then process them to the point of saying those sweet words about his little pretty girl. He's going to be such a fantastic big brother!
